Heritage Place Supportive Housing is a rental apartment building located at 20 Brooks Street in Barrie. There are 70 one-bedroom and 10 two-bedroom apartments. Residents pay monthly rent and for assisted-living services. This package includes a flexible meal plan and support services.

Assistance with personal care, medication monitoring, and bathing is determined based on assessed needs. Packages are customized and can be enhanced with additional services to maintain independence. The assisted-living services are subsidized by the Ministry of Health.

Recreational Programs, Social Services, and Spiritual and Religious Care are provided to maintain physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual functioning to improve quality of life.

Cozy comfortable lounge areas are located on each floor.
The games room lets residents indulge in a friendly game of billiards or darts or play board and card games.
Large walk-out sun decks are located off the fifth and fourth floor.
The roof top greenhouse attracts horticultural enthusiasts who enjoy growing plants.
Furnished outdoor areas and walking paths encourage enjoyment of the beautifully landscaped grounds and our award-winning gardens created by residents.
Convenience store staffed and operated by resident volunteers.
Wellness center is a nurse practitioner led clinic funded by the Ministry of Health.
Fitness room to maintain weight and fitness through exercise.
Laundry rooms are located on the 1st and 5th floors.
For a monthly fee, residents who own their own vehicle can lease a designated parking space in the parking lot adjacent to the building.
A small, well-stocked library is located on the 3rd floor.
An apartment is permitted to have one pet of “domestic” nature. (i.e. a dog, cat, bird, or a reasonably sized aquarium with fish)
