Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, 50/50 raffle tickets will be available for purchase online, with the grand prize draw taking place on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026.

Proceeds from the raffle will support the IOOF Seniors Homes redevelopment project to expand its long-term care home.

The IOOF is currently undergoing a major construction expansion that will include 64 new and 66 upgraded long-term care beds, which, once completed, will create a modern 226-bed facility.

The redevelopment will be completed in two phases, with phase one welcoming residents in spring 2028 and phase two in early 2029.

Since 2022, the IOOF's raffle program has raised more than $56,000 for the redevelopment project, including $4,310 from the last raffle in May.

Tickets for the 50/50 raffle, running from Tuesday, Sept. 1 to Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026, are available at the following prices: 10 tickets for $10; 40 tickets for $20; 150 tickets for $50; 400 tickets for $100.

The grand-prize draw will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026.

Sales will close at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026.

Purchase tickets before Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, to be entered into the $500 early bird draw.
