Best Practices Spotlight Organization & Clinical Pathways Program

The IOOF Seniors Homes is thrilled to announce that we have been accepted as a Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO), pre-designated by the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO). Launched in 2014, the Best Practice Spotlight program is a knowledge-based approach aimed at improving health outcomes for individuals, organizations, and healthcare systems through systematic implementation of evidence-based Best Practice Guidelines.
The IOOF will work collaboratively with RNAO for a three-year pre-designate period, and during this time, best practices will be implemented, evaluated, and sustained. Once all deliverables are met, the IOOF will receive the Best Practice Spotlight Organization Long-Term Care designate status.
The IOOF has joined the RNAO Clinical Pathways Program, where “pathways” are digitized and tailored to the long-term care sector. The resident care department will use these pathways to improve care quality, enhance resident and family centered care, support regulatory compliance, and reduce risk of errors.
This is an exciting time for the IOOF to continue as a leader in long-term care healthcare, and we look forward to sharing more updates on our Best Practice Spotlight Organization and Clinical Pathway journey!
Sincerely,
Jane Walker
