Val Bennett

Val is a seasoned human resource professional with over 20 years of experience dedicated to the healthcare sector. She is committed to creating positive and inclusive work environments.

For the last six years, Val has applied her expertise at IOOF Seniors Homes. Her career has primarily been in the hospital sector, where she has held a variety of roles in Human Resources, Volunteer Resources, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. This experience was broadened by a tenure in Corporate Human Resources in London, England, which gave her a global perspective on HR practices.

Val holds an undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management and a Labour Relations Certificate. She is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) with the Human Resources Professional Association and a Registered Corporate Coach through the Worldwide Association for Business Coaches.

Outside of work, Val is an avid traveler and a passionate dog lover. She finds rejuvenation in nature and enjoys spending time near the water at her home on Kempenfelt Bay.
