Emergency Response

 

24-Hour Emergency Response

For enhanced Resident safety, Heritage Place maintains a wireless emergency response system which is mandatory for each Resident. This fee per month service includes a ‘petite” pendant worn by the Resident which, when activated transmits a signal to the staff should the Resident require emergency assistance. Receivers located throughout the interior of the building send a signal to pagers carried by staff. The pager indicates the location of the emergency. Support staff are available 24/7 to respond to emergencies and assist Residents.


Emergency Response System

An emergency response system is built into each apartment at Heritage Place. There is an emergency pull station located in the bathroom. The system is monitored by IOOF Homes Support Services staff on a 24-hour basis.


The building's enterphone system is controlled from the Resident's own touch tone telephone in the apartment.
