Resident Housing Association
The Residents’ Housing Association is a member of the Ontario Association of Resident Councils (O.A.R.C.). The Residents’ Housing Association promotes social activities, fellowship, fundraising opportunities and information sharing with Residents. The Association meets monthly and often invites the CEO and managers to the meetings to discuss activities occurring within the organization. Elections to the executive are conducted annually, and everyone is invited to participate and/or stand for election.
 
Insurance Coverage
You are required to have a tenant insurance policy with a minimum of two million dollar liability coverage and sewer backage coverage. 
 
Support Package
The Director of Housing Accommodations will provide assistance and coordinate a service program to meet your personal needs. The new Inter RAI CHA Assessment will be completed to ensure what type and when your service best meets your needs and make adjustments as necessary. Support services are provided to you on an as-needed basis with a maximum of 4.5 hours per month for a one bedroom apartment and 5 hours per month for a 2 bedroom apartment. Support Services are not provided to you as you would “like them‟ but rather as you "need them‟. Additional services may be scheduled and purchased.
 
Waiting List Application
Members of the Beaver Rebekah or Odd Fellow Order are given priority over non-members on the waiting list.
