All of us want to live and work in a safe environment, wherever we are. The IOOF Seniors Homes Inc. is committed to working together with Residents, families, staff and volunteers to ensure that we have a safe place to live and work – and to build and maintain a culture of safety. A safety culture refers to the organization’s commitment to health and safety and how information is shared, reported and used for health and safety improvement.
Staff share this commitment and responsibility for high quality, safe care and service for all Residents and clients and for maintaining the environment in a safe condition. Through an interdisciplinary team assessment approach, an integrated and comprehensive Care Plan is developed for each Resident. Safety is the foundation of this Care Plan.
All of us are responsible for maintaining a safety culture – staff, volunteer, Residents, and families. If you ever have a safety concern, please bring it to the attention of staff immediately – we appreciate your assistance and reminders.
